Cookies (cookies)

Last updated: December 5, 2025

In a nutshell

We use cookies to make the online store work, be faster and more relevant to you. You decide which categories (except those that are strictly necessary) you want to allow.

In the cookie banner you can choose:

  • Accept all
  • Reject all (except necessary)
  • Customize (choose categories yourself)

You can change your choices at any time via the "Cookie settings" link at the bottom of the page.

What is a cookie?

A cookie is a small text file that is stored in your browser. It can be session-based (disappears when you close your browser) or persistent (remains until it expires or you delete it).

Which categories do we use?

1) Necessary (always on)

Making the store work at all: login, shopping cart, checkout, security, load balancing, consent selection. Without these, things grind to a halt. Consent is not required for strictly necessary cookies.

Examples (typically in Shopify store):

  • cart, cart_currency, checkout_token - keeps track of the cart/checkout
  • __cf_bm or similar - network/security protection
  • cookie_consent - saves your choices

2) Functional (optional)

Provides better user experience: remembers language/choice, saves settings, chat statuses, etc.

3) Analysis (optional)

Helps us understand what's working and what's not, so we can make the site faster and better. We use aggregated statistics - we see trends, not your name.

Common examples:

  • Google Analytics: _ga, _ga_*, _gid
  • Shopify Analytics: _shopify_s, _shopify_y, *_analytics_*

4) Marketing (optional)

Used to show relevant ads, limit the number of impressions, and measure the impact of campaigns.

Common examples:

  • Meta (Facebook/Instagram): _fbp, _fbc
  • Klaviyo (email/SMS automation): _kla_id (connects page visits with email sends when you have consented)

Important: We do not run analytics/marketing cookies until you have given consent in the banner.

How long are cookies stored?

It varies. Below are typical intervals - exact times are shown in the table.

  • Session cookies: deleted when you close your browser
  • Persistent cookies: a few hours to max approx. 24 months (common for analysis)
  • You can delete everything whenever you want (see "How to manage cookies yourself")

Who processes data?

We use suppliers that make the online store possible and measure usage at an overall level. Typical players with us:

  • Shopify (store platform/checkout)
  • Klaviyo (mailings/automation)
  • Google Analytics (traffic analysis)
  • Meta (ad management) - only if you consent to marketing

Details of how we process personal data, legal basis, retention period and your rights can be found in the Privacy Policy document.

How to control cookies yourself

  • In our store: Click "Cookie settings" at the bottom and change your choices at any time.
  • In your browser: You can block or delete cookies in settings. Search for "cookies" in the Help menu in Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge etc. Keep in mind that some features may stop working if you block necessary cookies.

Change/withdrawal of consent

You can withdraw consent for Functional/Analysis/Marketing at any time via "Cookie settings". We will then stop setting new cookies in the selected categories. To remove cookies that are already in your browser, you must delete them in your browser settings.

Changes to this policy

We will update the text when we change which cookies we use, or how we use them. The date of the last update is at the top. In the event of significant changes, we display a new banner.
