You've probably noticed that the sandwax in your ceramic bowl behaves differently than regular candles. Here's the science behind the magic.
Slow and steady burning
The sand wax melts gradually, forming an even pool of warm wax. This gives you control over how long the candle burns – typically 3-4 hours per 50g.
Clean combustion
Our wicks are selected to provide minimal sooting. This means cleaner air and less maintenance of your bowls.
Reusable aesthetics
When the wax is used up, you are left with the beautiful bowl, ready for the next refill or for other purposes.
Important: Never move a burning bowl and allow the wax to harden completely before handling it.
